2018 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT NEGOTIATION BETWEEN SUBVENTED AGENCIES AND GOVERNMENT OF GHANA COMMENCES AT SEC

The 2018 Performance Contract Negotiation for the Subvented Agencies (SAs) kicks off in full swing on Monday, February 19, 2018. This activity for the subvented agencies comes right after that for SOEs.

A total of 15 agencies are expected to negotiate the Performance Contracts for 2018. The list of subvented agencies to appear before the SEC Team are as follows: for Ministry of Education, there will be National Accreditation Board, Sunyani Technical University and Kumasi Technical University. Food & Drugs Authority, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Cape Coast Teaching Hospital will be coming from the Ministry of Health. Ghana Standards Authority will be coming from the Ministry of Trade & Industry, and Driver & Vehicle Licensing Authority will be coming from the Transport Ministry. Others will be Energy Commission from Ministry of Energy, Forestry Commission, Minerals Commission and Lands Commission, all from the Ministry of Lands & Natural Resources. Environmental Protection Agency will be coming from the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology & Innovation, and Securities & Exchange Commission from the Finance Ministry.

So far, one (1) agency, Sunyani Technical University has successfully undergone the exercise. All the companies that take part in the 2018 Performance Contract Negotiation will sign their contracts on the upcoming signing ceremony.
