ALEXANDRA TOTOE HONOURED AS “CORPORATE WOMAN OF THE YEAR”
VRA Ladies Association has honoured the General Manager for Finance and Administration of SIGA, Madam Alexandra Totoe as corporate woman of the year.
Madam Alexandra received the honour at the second edition of the Ladies of Impact Conference (LIC), hosted by the Volta River Authority Ladies Association (VRALA Accra Branch).
The programme was under the theme: “The Innovative VRA Lady: A Catalyst for Change” and aimed to inspire female employees to pursue impactful careers. LIC’s objective is to identify and honour exceptional female employees and provide them a platform to share their career journeys. The event also addresses advancement and positioning of female employees in the workplace, enabling them to contribute to the Authority’s strategic objectives.
Ms. Totoe, a former Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) of Finance at VRA, shared her life experiences and insights to inspire, empower women from diverse backgrounds to and shape a successful career.
SIGA Divas, consisting of ladies from SIGA were present in their numbers at the ceremony to support their General Manager, Finance and Administration.
Also in attendance at the Conference were the Deputy Chief Executive, Engineering and Operations, Mr. Edward Obeng-Kenzo, Deputy Chief Executive, Services, Mr. Ken Arthur, former Advisor, Office of the Chief Executive, Dr. (Mrs.) I. Stella Agyenim-Boateng, Mrs. Efua Garbrah-Sarfo, a former Director, HR of VRA, Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah, Chief Director, Ministry of Energy, and representatives from sister institutions such as SIGA and ECG.
