The Minister of Public Enterprises Hon. Joseph Cudjoe has asked  business leaders to digitalize their operations for sustainability and profit.

He made the call while addressing participants of the 6th Ghana CEO’s Summit held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra on Monday, 30th May, 2022.

‘’CEOs and business leaders must be strategic, efficient and effective in using technology and innovation to drive sustainable and profitable business operations,” he stressed.

The honourable Minister disclosed his Ministry is collaborating with the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) to usher public enterprises into the digital age. “Going forward, the Ministry of Public Enterprises through SIGA is working closely with the public enterprises to digitalize their processes. This is to bring them up to the level required where they can provide speedy support and services to businesses and the citizenry.”

This year’s summit is under the theme “Digital Leadership for a Digital Economy, Leading Digital Business and Government Transformation, a Private-Public sector CEO dialogue and Learning.”

Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah was  the guest of honour. The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison, the Director-General of SIGA, Amb. Edward Boateng, and over 500 Chief Executives from the private and public sectors participated.
