Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, today, 12th of March, 2021 paid a working visit to the Tema Oil Refinery; his first to a sector agency ever since he assumed office as a sector Minister for Energy.

He held meetings with management and staff and emphasised government’s commitment towards ensuring the viability of TOR to make it a leading player on the African continent.

He also emphasised the need for management and staff to sit up and work together for the success of TOR as it was in their collective interest to do so.

According to Dr. Prempeh, TOR is a prized and strategic national asset and can fulfill its mandate if all stakeholders come together in a purposive way to give true meaning to President Akufo-Addo’s vision of a Ghana Beyond Aid.
