Mr. John Boadu, the recently appointed Director – General (DG) of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) and the Management of SIGA have engaged in a formal meeting with the Minister of Public Enterprises, Hon, Joseph Cudjoe at the Castle in Osu.

The purpose of the meeting was to officially welcome Mr. John Boadu and to acquaint him with the members of the Management team. Hon Joseph Cudjoe welcomed all the participants at the meeting and stated that he was happy to host the meeting to discuss matters which border on the success of SIGA as an Authority and to meet the new DG.

Mr. John Boadu on his part, shared his vision for SIGA and asked for the support of management to actualize his goal of ensuring profitability of the Specified Entities under SIGA’s purview while maintaining good corporate governance practices. He mentioned, “The mandate which SIGA has is important to the development of our country and I have been tasked by His Excellency, Nana Akufo Addo to ensure that this mandate is achieved”.

Ms. Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, the General Manager in charge of Operations at SIGA who spoke on behalf of the SIGA Management, expressed her enthusiasm at the appointment of Mr. Boadu to the role of D-G and pledged the support of the SIGA team to achieving the mandate and vision of SIGA. She said, “We are happy to welcome you to SIGA and will give our outmost best to support you and ensure your vision for SIGA is actualised”.
