Mr. John Boadu takes Office as AG. Director-General of SIGA

 

 

President Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. John Boadu as the Director-General for the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).

Mr. Boadu, a seasoned professional, brings rich experience and commitment to this role, to ensure that Specified Entities uphold good corporate governance and operational efficiency.

His expertise as an accomplished Accountant and Quantitative Analyst is a testament to his multifaceted skill set. Mr. Boadu experience includes Board Chairman for GoBitumen, a subsidiary of Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) and a Board Member of GOIL where he chairs the Operations, Information Technology, and Marketing Sub-Committee. Additionally, he holds crucial positions as Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Guinness Ghana Limited.

Having served as CEO and Director of Shokram Co. Ltd. since 2009, Mr. Boadu has proven his ability to drive day-to-day operations, strategically align goals, and secure long-term success.

 

His influence extends beyond the corporate world. His impact on the political landscape has been felt beyond Ghana having served the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) as National Organiser, Ag. General Secretary and General Secretary.

Mr. Boadu has also actively contributed to youth development and empowerment as the Secretary-General of the Organization of African Liberal Youth (OALY), where he championed youth engagement.

An alumnus of Opoku Ware School and Christ the King Catholic School in Obuasi, John Boadu holds a B.Sc. in Administration with a specialization in accounting from the University of Ghana.
