Responsible for the legal and regulatory affairs of SIGA and specified entities, as well as providing SIGA with legal representation, opinions and reviews on laws and legislation to ensure governance procedures and processes are adhered to.

Establishment of specific performance measures, collecting and analysing performance information, planning and managing evaluations in line with the mandate of SIGA including the implementation of performance contracts for the Entities in which the State has interest to ensure fairness, transparency and accountability.

Facilitating the development of a Code of Conduct and Guidelines for Good Corporate Governance to effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance related matters of SIGA as well as the state interest entities; and ensuring adherence to the highest standards of excellence and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations.

Responsible for designing optimal of developmental strategies including the provision of technical support and inputs, and ensuring compliance to legal and regulatory legislations to maximize the financial returns of state interest entities

Managing issues of specified entities as they relate to financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, balance sheet management, financial risk analysis and management as well as regulatory reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and other regulatory guidelines.
