SIGA DG pays strategic visit to Ghana Gas
Mr. John Boadu, the Acting Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) has engaged Dr. Ben Asante, CEO, and management of Ghana National Gas Company Ltd (Ghana Gas) in a strategic meeting.
The meeting, hosted at the Gas House on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Accra, was used to formerly introduce the new director-general and as a platform for fostering transparent and effective partnership.
Mr. Boadu in his remarks acknowledged the dedication of Ghana Gas’s CEO and management and highlighted his commitment to cultivating collaboration and achieving mutual objectives for sustainable development. He also commended Ghana Gas for its commitment to compliance and timely submission of financial reports, whilst praising their forward-thinking approach in the energy and power sector.
“SIGA acknowledges your commitment to compliance and the innovative utilization of technology, this showcases your devotion to advancing our nation’s energy landscape. This collaborative effort sets a commendable standard for the industry,” Mr. Boadu remarked.
Welcoming the Director-General and his team, Dr. Ben K.D. Asante made a presentation on the company’s operations, policies for sustainable energy supply and collaborations with other African nations.

Collaborations with key African nations underscore our commitment to fostering sustainable energy solutions while simultaneously generating profits and building local capacity,” Dr. Asante stated.
Accompanying the Director-General on the visit were Mr. Stephen Asiedu, Acting General Manager Operations, Madam Alexandra Totoe, Acting General Manager, Finance & Administration, SIGA Divisional Heads, and management staff.
