FINANCE, FISCAL RISK AND DEBT MANAGEMENT
Managing issues of specified entities as they relate to financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, balance sheet management, financial risk analysis and management as well as regulatory reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and other regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Making recommendations and implementing appropriate strategies and policies for the management of financial accounting activities in SIGA and the Specified Entities to reduce financial risk; and facilitate reporting in line with accounting standards, laws and regulations.
- Making recommendations and implementing systems and processes to facilitate the review of the financial statements of the State Interest Entities and analyse to provide reliable information for decision making by the relevant stakeholders
- Assisting in the collection, collation and analysis of data for decision making on the acquisition and disposal of investments to conform with relevant laws and regulations.
- Designing and implementing control measures for SIGA and the specified entities; and monitoring plans for compliance and operational risk management.
