
SIGA HOSTS DELEGATION FROM SOMALILAND
A delegation from the Civil Service Institute (CSI) of Somaliland today paid a visit to SIGA.
The delegation is in Ghana for a one-week training at the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA) in order to equip themselves with needed skills aimed at strengthening the Civil Service Institute of Somaliland. The delegation was led by Regina Nortey-Botchway, programmes Coordinator with GIMPA Consultancy and Innovative Directorate.
The delegation was welcomed by Madam Alexandra Totoe and Madam Hollistar Duah-Yentumi General Manager, Finance and Administration and General Manager Operations respectively.
Mr. Ahmed Yusuf Dirir, Auditor General for Somaliland explained their mission to Ghana and the purpose for visiting SIGA. “We are a new nation; we are seeking for best practices across the continent to build our country and so it is proper to under study. We are here to know what SIGA does and the best practices to take back to our country”.
The Head of Research, Innovation, Planning and Strategy (RIPS), Dr. Prince Edward Darah made a wholistic presentation on SIGA to the delegation. This was followed by an interactive session which offered the delegation to seek clarification on the presentation.
The delegation expressed their profound gratitude to the Management of SIGA for the opportunity.
