SIGA Launches Start of 2022 State Ownership Report

 

 

The Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA); Amb. Edward Boateng has officially launched the 2022 State Ownership Report (SOR).

Speaking at the launch, Amb. Boateng emphasized the importance of the SOR stating “The SOR is a blueprint for excellence. It represents our commitment to continuous improvement and accountability within Specified Entities. We must collectively strive to ensure that the forthcoming report reflects our strides and areas we can further excel.”

The Director-General also stressed the urgency of data collection, urging the team to initiate this critical process promptly to ensure the timely completion of the 2022 SOR by December 2023. He expressed confidence in the dedication and expertise of the team underlining their pivotal role in shaping the report’s accuracy and comprehensiveness.

The launch marks the beginning of a comprehensive evaluation process, fostering transparency, accountability, and improved performance within Specified Entities. As the data collection phase unfolds, SIGA looks forward to a comprehensive and insightful report that will drive positive change and contribute to the growth of our nation.

The State Ownership Report (SOR) is an annual high-level document that provides a comprehensive financial assessment of the performance of state enterprises, offering insights into their achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
