SIGA Mourns with Former Speaker of Parliament
The Director-General of SIGA has led a delegation from the State Interests and Governance Authority to mourn with the former speaker of parliament Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye, on the passing of his wife.
The late Major Rtd. Alberta Adwoa Boatemaa Oquaye, died on Saturday, 4th March 2023.
The delegation from SIGA included, the Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Stephen Asiedu and some managers who joined other mourners to observe the one-week ceremony.
Dignitaries at the ceremony included H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of Ghana, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei Opare, the speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament and more.
The delegation also commiserated with Amb. Mike Oquaye Jnr., son of the deceased and CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, an entity under the ambit of SIGA, after signing the book of condolence.
