While the country spends so much importing rice, one project that could turn the fortunes of the country around is the Aveyime Rice Factory if it is made operational.

Kumasi Abattoir Company Limited (KACL) a major meat production and processing Centre that meets world class quality, safety and health standards since 1999.

Ghana Rubber Estates Limited (GREL) started as a small private plantation established by R. T. Briscoe in 1957 at Dixcove with a plantation size of 923 hectares. The plantation was nationalized into Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) in 1960 and later, State Farms Corporation in 1962. At that time, the rubber plantation had expanded to 36,390 hectares in Dixcove, Abura and Subri.

PBC Limited has over the years received recognition both on the local and international fronts. The Prestigious Ghana Club 100 ranking has seen the Company move from the 89th Position in 2008 to an enviable No. 1 Position in 2010. The No. 1 Position was successfully retained in 2011 making PBC Limited one of the few companies in Ghana to retain this position for successive years.

Twifo Oil Palm Plantations Limited can be located at Twifo Ntafrewaso near Twifo Praso, in the Central Region of Ghana with a Nucleus planted area of 4234 ha. The rest of the concession is covered with Offices, Factory, accommodation for Junior, Senior and Management Staff, Recreational centre, a nine hole Golf Course, Club House, Clinic, Police Station, Banks, Schools (Pre-school, Primary and Junior High), Roads, Nursery and 1913ha for smallholders.
