GHACEM Limited

The company was established in 1967, and has played an important role of building Ghana through more than 50 years. Ghacem has two cement grinding plants in Tema and Takoradi, and a network of sales offices and depots throughout the country.
Ghana was allowed as a member of the International Bauxite Association in November 1974. Ghana Bauxite Company has been working on the mining site in Awaso since 1941, which is said to have enough reserves to last for more than three decades. Other bauxite reserves of Ghana are said to have reserves to last for more than a century.

Ghana Agro-Food Company Limited

Ghana agrofood company is an integrated agro and food company which has 3 business units – foods division, animal feeds division and canned tuna exports division.

Under the foods division we have three operations – flour production and sales, tuna domestic sales and commodity trading – sugar, rice and oil.

Volta Aluminium Company Limited

VALCO, a major long-term investment in Ghana is one of the largest enterprises in the country and the second largest smelter in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is a major producer of primary aluminium for the local and international markets. The establishment of VALCO was a result of the vision of the first President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, to establish an integrated aluminium industry in the country.

The Ghana Supply Company Limited (GSCL) formerly known as Ghana Supply Commission was originally established in 1960 as a centralized procurement agency for the Government of Ghana.

The Ghana Trade Fair Company is to marshall its material and human resource to commercially engage in effective trade promotion for Ghanaian enterprises. In the process, the GTFC will continue with the development of the Ghana Trade Fair Centre to an internationally acceptable standard, and effectively utilize all its facilities for viable economic ventures.
