The Board Chairman of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, (NEDco) has promised their customers of stable power.

Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa, Board Chairman of the NEDco who also doubles as the CEO of Volta River Authority made the pledge when the Board of NEDco was inaugurated at the Ministry of Energy in Accra.

Deputy Minister

Hon. Owuraku Aidoo, deputy minister of Energy who stood in for the Minister charged the board to serve faithfully, diligently and with utmost integrity. He also asked them to work harmoniously to ensure that lights are kept on.

SIGA

Mr. Thomas Kwegyir-Abaidoo, who represented the Director-General urged the Board to work to improve efficiency and profitability with the assurance that SIGA is ever ready to partner with them.

“On behalf of my Director-General I would like to congratulate you on your appointments”, he said.

The Board

The Board which is made up of Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa (Chairman), Mr. Osmani Aludiba Ayuba (MD), Ms. Laila Abubakari, Mr. Musa Badimsugru Adam, Ing. Samuel Boakye-Appiah and Chief Mahama Abdulai expressed their gratitude to the president H.E. Akufo-Addo and the Minister for Energy for their selection and assured of giving off their best.
