The State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) welcomed a delegation from the National Communications Authority (NCA) during a courtesy visit held on Wednesday, 28th May 2025.
The delegation was led by the Acting Director-General of the NCA, Rev. Ing. Edmund Y. Fianko, who was accompanied by the Acting Deputy Director-General, Mrs. Etta Mosore. Discussions during the visit centered on compliance with reporting obligations, data exchange, and opportunities for synergy between the two institutions in support of improved governance across the communications sector.
In his remarks, Rev. Ing. Edmund Y. Fianko expressed appreciation to SIGA for the warm reception and reiterated the NCA’s commitment to meeting its statutory obligations.
“This visit is a declaration of intent to work closely with SIGA in fulfilling our responsibilities. We respect SIGA’s oversight mandate and are fully committed to aligning our internal systems to support public sector performance and accountability.”
