Annual Governance And Institutional Performance Assessment Report (AGIPAR)

Mandated by Section 4(e) of the SIGA Act, 2019 (Act 990), the report fulfills SIGA’s obligation to prepare and submit to the Minister an annual assessment of the governance and institutional performance of SEs under its oversight. This report therefore forms part of a broader national effort to identify and address systemic governance and institutional challenges within the Specified Entities (SEs) under SIGA’s purview. It provides an annual overview of the state of corporate governance and general institutional performance of the SEs, which allows comparative analysis of the governance, risk management and compliance structures and practices, as well as the operational and financial management performance and bottom line of the SEs, and proffer recommendations to the government through the relevant ministers.
