On Tuesday, 17th June 2025, the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) hosted a senior delegation from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for a strategic meeting aimed at exploring avenues for collaboration and advancing mutual institutional growth. The engagement took place at SIGA’s head office in Accra and was chaired by the Director-General, Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte.
Welcoming the delegation, Prof. Kpessa-Whyte underscored SIGA’s commitment to working with leading professional services firms such as PwC to strengthen corporate governance, improve operational efficiency, and promote value creation across Specified Entities. He emphasized the importance of building synergies that support public sector transformation and sustainable development.
The discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, including performance management systems, risk and compliance frameworks, capacity-building initiatives, and the enhancement of transparency and accountability mechanisms across Specified Entities.
The PwC team also expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage with SIGA and reaffirmed their interest in supporting the Authority’s mandate through technical expertise and innovative solutions.
This engagement marks a significant step in SIGA’s ongoing efforts to cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders in the private sector, leveraging external capabilities to strengthen public sector performance and contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s economic growth agenda.
