New SIGA Board Familiarisation Visit

Shortly after their inauguration on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, the newly constituted Board of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), led by Chairperson Madam Nancy Dakwa Ampofo, visited the Authority’s office in Accra for a familiarisation engagement.

The visit provided the Board with the opportunity to meet with SIGA’s management, interact with key departmental heads, and gain first-hand insight into the Authority’s operations and ongoing initiatives.

Welcoming the Board, the Ag. Director-General of SIGA, Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, briefed members on the Authority’s current programmes, outlining key reforms, operational priorities, and strategies aimed at strengthening governance and driving performance across Specified Entities.

Also present to welcome the Board were the Ag. General Manager of Finance, Madam Alexandra Totoe, and the Ag. General Manager of Operations, Madam Millicent Atuguba, who provided insights into the Authority’s financial status and operational strategies.

Board Chairperson, Madam Nancy Dakwa Ampofo, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to working closely with management to deliver results.

The Ag. Director-General, Prof. Kpessa-Whyte, in turn, assured the Board of the full co-operation of management and staff, noting that their guidance would be crucial in addressing challenges and accelerating progress.

The familiarisation visit concluded with a closed-door meeting to discuss key strategic priorities.
