Research, Innovations, Planning & Strategy (RIPS)

The Research, Innovation, Planning and Strategy (RIPS) department is one of the divisions in SIGA. It has three (3) units namely research and Innovation, Planning and Strategy , and Knowledge Management and Resource Centre. The division is responsible for the administration of the SIGA’s seven (7) year strategic plan spanning 2022 to 2029. It develops templates to collect information to analyse the performance of programmes captured in the various scopes (short term, medium term and long term), and provides reports to stakeholders.

Functions

    The division also executes research to inform public policy, provides industry feedback and unearth relevant gaps in execution, to propagate economic growth.
  • 02.
    The division is also responsible for the archiving of deduced concepts, programmes and images which serves as key intangible asset of the Authority.
  • 03.
    The central point for processing of correspondence, the registry, a part of the division, facilitates correspondence management to inform efficient flow of inward and outward correspondence.
